Today I realized that I have too many plain black elastic bands lying around in my room, so I decided to make use of them to make them useful, plus I could get rid of some scrap fabric lying everywhere in my room.
THINGS YOU NEED:
a) glue gun
b) felt (cut into a circle as your backing for the flower)
c) scrap fabric of choice
d) elastic bands
e) sewing thread
f) needles
Heres how:
1) Cut your fabric in to circles, and then fold them into quarters, like this.
(I sandwiched another fabric in between)
2) glue them using the glue gun onto the felt backing.
3) Attach your elastic band to the back of the felt backing and then sew it in place. To cover up the unsightly parts, use felt of the same color to cover the sewing and thread. Use glue gun to bond. I burnt myself with the glue gun a couple of times. But the glue damn powerful. hahaha.
and tadahhhh. finish.
Up it goes on my hair!
Its kinda addictive to make these cute little things. Really. I'm gonna make a whole country of little flowers.
