For Steph and Amanda

So, I made pretty hair ties today with the crocheted flowers that I made a few days ago while working.
I sewed them quite similarly to the ones on that I sewed on the bag that I made, with the silver pearl in the middle. The black flower hair tie is for Steph...and the bright yellow is for meeeeeeeeeeeeee yay. HAHAH. I am so excited whenever I make new stuff for myself. Its like, yay i got more things I can use. ^^
Self woven with two different colored yarn to make the bow and then stitched them together and held fast with a nice cyan blue middle.
I lurvit, as much as I love BEEF. slurp yummyyyyyy %_%

Hand made book for Amanda who requested her book to have:
-blank sheets
-bright colored cover

Its super easy to do!
HERES HOW:

1) Get any kind of paper you want for your book, take about 5 sheets and then fold them in half nicely. Make about 6 stacks of 5 sheets (depending on how thick you want your book to be)

2) Use a pin or a fat needle and punch holes at the side as shown below.
Make sure the holes are aligned

3) Stitch them together like this. Like, make sure it goes through every single punched hole and fasten it tightly so that it holds the pages nice and taut together.
4) Next, to make the book cover, measure the dimensions stitched stack of papers and also the side width. Add about 0.5cm allowance around. Cut out on cardboard or any thick backing you might wanna use.
5) Tape them together. Leave a small gap in between as shown in step 4. This is so that there is space for the book to fold.
6) Lay your chosen fabric down and wrap the cover up nicely as shown below. You can add a bookmark like I did too. ^^
7) Lastly, glue your pages down onto both sides of the book cover, and you are doneeee. Oh , also add glue to the book spine, this would add more sturdiness to your book. And we're done! :D

simple right? I'm also sorry if the steps aren't clear enough, I'm not that good with step by step instructions but if there are any questions you can always formspring or comment ^^
