skin care

A few weeks ago, I had a sudden outbreak on my skin. It started out with really small white heads and then small but visible pimples, and then to one or two big pimples at the most random places on my faces, like under my chin, at the side of my cheek...

I was super afraid that my acne phase would come back again because I've always been neglecting skin care regime and I don't really take good care of my face. At the most, I just wash my face and occasionally I will apply toner, but thats about it.

So because of this sudden pimple out break, I went on a facial mask frenzy. Somewhere I read that facial masks have to be applied at least 3 times a week to get good skin. I don't know if this is true or what, but I've been faithfully using facial masks every alternate day ever since.

Anyway here are the different masks that I use.
----------------

1) My beauty Diary- Japanese Hydrangea Mask
(for oil control and soothing. Best for oily and sensitive skin)

I bought this when I was in malaysia so I don't know if you can find it here in singapore. Well but anyway, after trying one pack I could see results instantly after removing the mask. My skin is MUCH MUCH MUCH smoother and the pores are visibly smaller and all. My skin was left shiny, not the oily shiny, but the healthy and radiant kind. SUPER worth trying.

I should take pictures next time of the before and after. soompa brotherhood.

2) Love More- Japan Electric Ore 3d stretch duo lifting mask

I just bought this yesterday, Or rather, Kit bought this for me yesterday at Watsons. Its unique and different from other masks because it has a ear hook so that the mask can be applied and wrapped around tightly over your face for maximum absorption.

This mask whitens, moisturizes and tightens your face.

I actually do feel my skin being stretched a little, upon removing the mask.

I met kit today and he said that my skin looks more radient much. WHOOHOO. ^^ mask success. ^^

3) My beauty Diary- q10 rejuvenating mask

q10 is a relative new comer to the skin care industry. It is also the most amazing thing that has happened to me.
Heres some facts:
- q10 helps in producing collagen, elastin and other important skin molecules.
- q10 boosts skin repair and regeneration
- q10 is a small molecule that can easily penetrate into skin cells

You can read more about it here.

Okay done. I feel compelled to write about the masks that I use so that I can keep track on which masks are good for me and which arent so good for my skin type. I have oily and sensitive skin, so certain skin products that I use might actually cause my pores to secrete more oil resulting in more breakouts, or it can also cause dry and rough patches on my face. boohoo. sucks to be a girl with worries as such.

I hope this would also help any out there who wants to start finding a good mask to use.

ok bye.
