ranttt

Hihi, hows everybody?

I've been super busy with school.
Right now I'm sort of doing this "internship" thing with a local interior textiles company called Korla. I have to come up with geometric designs taking inspiration from a chosen SE asia country. And, I HATE GEOMETRIC PRINTS/ DESIGNS.

I am a super flowly lined person. I cannot take it when things are too rigid or too regular, I seriously will go mad. BUT THAT BEING SAID, challenge accepted...geometrics it is then. So basically what I do every time I have small pockets of free time, I just sit and think about what I havent done yet and I will start working on that and worry that I dont have enough time to finish my work.

I'm a worrier. A super huge worrier. and I'm a perfectionist as well, so I go mad when I can't get things to go my way, like I can keep working on the same thing until I think its perfect. (and I go mad in the process of doing so)

le sigh le sigh. I've been sewing too much and researching and researching and researching. I just wanna have a day off to sleep and forget about everything that I've yet to do.

anyway, I'll be posting up work in progress so stay tuned if you're interested in the project that I'm working on ! ^^

  1. Hi!
what sewing machine are you using? is it good?
And can it do hem stitching? Are there any models that you recommend?

  2. hem stitch like overlocking? no cannot, but can use like zig zag stitch to substitute the overlocking stitch. i'm using a sewing machine from Brother. Its very basic, but still has some awesomely cool stitches. It depends on what u want the sewing machine for. if its just normal sewing, then just get a basic one, no more than $200. and i'd recommend brother.
