Hello, I'm still alive.
What a crazy week it has been. I just finished formative feedback week, its like this week when my school lecturers give me grades for my works and feedback so that I can improve and change certain things before the end of semester's final assesment. So life's been pretty hectic here.
On the brighter side, after the head director and designer of KORLA (interior textiles brand in singapore) came to look at some of our works and textiles, IM SO HAPPY that they said they would like to offer me an internship place with them. SUPER duper happy.
But just then, that night I had an offer from London as well, at Mirjam Rouden's textile studio. And then I'm like...dilemma to the max. Right now I'm heading towards the London direction because I really want the exposure and to really see what other textile artists all over the world are doing. And Mirjam is super awesome, looking at her press coverages and her works...and developing prints for H&M, banana republic, sonia rykiel, Christian lacroix couture...AWESOME MUCH?
It'll be pretty cool if everything goes well and if I really go to London. It'll be decided this week.
How is everyone? I'm sorry for not updating so often anymore, really busy with work. :( Can't wait to have my holidays. Since I hate all text posts, I shall post a few recent photos from my week.
Here are some of my works that I did for 3D manipulation class.
and baby who has just started to learn how to brush his teeth, he refuses to put down the tooth brush whenever he starts brushing. He brushes his teeth for like 10 minutes or so. Haha, super adorable.
