Hello da jia. How was the start of your week?
I ended my internship this week, yesterday to be exact. But yesterday was like a living nightmare, my iphone had no 3g! I started freaking out because the 3g sign was present but there doesnt seem to be any internet and i can't launch any web page or app on my iphone. I mean, srsly, WHAT IF I GET LOST. No google maps.
Had japanese dinner with linda and esther who are from netherlands, and Monica who's from new york. (I have a sudden craving for new york cheese cake, so apt) anyway, linda ordered a sushi ten bento that had some selections of teppanyaki stuff. And one of which had eggplant in it. HOW DO I DESCRIBE WHAT AN EGGPLANT IS. She didn't know what it was, I mean, if I had 3G WORKING on my iphone I could have showed her:
i) what an eggplant is
ii) reviews on how an eggplant tastes like
iii) a dutch word for eggplant
iv) a video of an eggplant being cooked (not that its really necessary but im just proving my point)
SO THERE, see how important internet is.
And I had SO MANY tweettable moments, but I had to jot it down on iphone notes so that I could remember to tweet them later on when I get wifi back home.
I am a disaster without internet.
Anyway this is what I did last weekend
I took pictures of almost every single thing on exhibit in the museum. Which amounts to about close to 1000 images. So. On. Even took notes okay.
Polaroid stash from london so far.Beautiful sky on the way to work on friday. Can't wait to be up there and zooom back home.

Me and my friends at South Wark

I live for these deals man. Gonna miss it when I leave london.
Anyway, if you followed me on instagram or twitter you would have come to realized that I've been working A LOT on florals during my internship at mirjam rouden's print studio. Here is a fraction of the work I did.

And since it was my last day yesterday, I made mirjam a thank you card using fabric paint and sewing over it. Im so happy she likes it a lot. ^^
and I am upset they don't have curry sauce for nuggets here. MAXIMUM CRAVING FOR THAT NOW.
