Hi everyone, its 120am and I just got home and I'm so awake after drinking so much coke. SHAGALALLLALALALLA. I'm so highhhhhh~
Anyway, I'm just going to rant about today accompanied with some pictures from this week.
So today, I did gallery sitting. I WAS SO LATE. I was supposed to be there at 10, but I got there at 11. THE TRAIN WAS SO SLOW AND IT KEPT STOPPING. zzzz. Anyway, so I was thinking to myself: Why do gallery sitters have to be there so early?! Like who on earth would want to go visit a gallery in a school at 10am or 11am in the morning? nothing better to do????. AND I SWEAR, right after I tweeted that, there was this huge bus packed with tourist, and in less than 5 mins after they got off the bus, they flooded in the gallery.
It was like...WHOA.
And then! after they left, ANOTHER BUS ARRIVED BUT THIS TIME, PACKED WITH SECONDARY SCHOOL KIDS. I think they came to visit lasalle and to check out the campus...and yeah they flooded into the gallery too. CRAZY SHIT. Right after I said who would wanna come to the gallery at this time, suddenly one whole country of people came.
But gallery sitting in general, is pretty cool. Got the chance to talk to some interesting people.
so its cool yo~

Was doing work in the basement studio, lots and lots of sewing, and decided to take a break by drawing on the walls. I know its pretty crazy shit to draw on school walls, but in lasalle its rather common. So...nyeh...
vincent and I attempting to draw large scale on the wall
Making final touches
And then Kenny came and added more stuff to my drawing. Or maybe he just got no more wall space to draw on. IDK :/ But I think the whole idea of people adding onto a drawing and adding their own input and design, but yet making a design or drawing look collective as a whole, is pretty amazing. Should try that some day man~
This is how it looks like right after I finished. The scribbled words says Bad Influence.
A close up.
Its my first time drawing on such a huge scale and drawing directly onto the wall with a permanent marker. Freestyle is the way to go yo~ although I must admit, sometimes I'm not confident of my lines and it ends up looking really weird and out of proportion.
ANYWAY
MARSHMELLOWS ARE MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIME. Idk why but this particular brand of marshmellows is extremely sweet and EXTREMELY STICKY. Its such a pain in the ass to get them out of the plastic packaging thing. But still, its soooo yummilicious.
A really silly convo with X, he's so full of shit all the time but its really funny. I really wanna go to the beach! Like bikini, beach volley ball all~ YKNOW, THAT'LL BE SOO NICE. And maybe have a picnic under the tree or something yknow. Perfect ideal date~ Just as long as it doesn't rain. :/
Was so stressed on sunday because of the essay submission, I decided to just bake some peanut butter cookies. It totally works to relief stress, and best because I made people smile! My friends really liked them cookies! :D
What I've been working on these few days...detached fillers. I KEEP SEWING UNTIL MY FINGERS GOT BLISTERS. IT HURTS LIKE A BITCH. Im quite glad because today vincent decided to help me out with some sewing. No shit, its so painful everytime I sew, so my production rate is decreasing. :(
help. more help please. :(
ANYWAY, I NEED TO SHOW EVERYONE MY FAVOURITE FOOD AT 15MINS CAFE@LASALLE.
hello everyone. this is chicken parmigiana. Say hi~
Its so freakin awesome. I love it to the max. It usually comes with salad though, but I always change the salad to fries and ask for extra cheese (extra $2). I don't like salad because, I hate vegetables. Dont eat them at all. and no, i do not get constipation thank you very much.
OKAY, THATS ALL.
I'M SO THE TIRED.
CIAO~ (^______^*)

Hello, same person who commented on your exhibition opening post here.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering. Do you sometimes feel unmotivated to do work since the amount of work that you've put in for school doesn't necessarily reflect on your grades? I feel this way, especially after Sem 1. And I've also found out that lecturers don't always mark according to the criteria so everything's really biased.
It can get quite depressing sometimes... So much so that now, I don't even wanna put in effort in my work anymore :(
Hello anonymous blog friend,
Deletehmm yeah I did feel the same way when I was in foundation. (im assuming that you're in foundation) I worked really hard but I got really shitty grades as compared to my classmates who didn't come to school as regularly and didn't try as hard. I also even thought that the lecturers are biased towards international students because they just wanted them to "promote" to lvl 1 and pay higher school fees or something. hAHAHHA. idk, just my assumption.
and yes, i know it gets really depressing, I cried so many times when I was in foundation.
Don't worry, just do your best, and enjoy what you're doing. Its not about the grades really, maybe when youre in lvl 1 or 2, then grades will start to matter. And things WILL get better, so just try your best k? ^^
Yeah. Friends who didn't work as hard as I did got better grades than I did. Really demoralizing... But thank you! This is what I've been hoping to hear. Telling this to some of my friends didn't help because they didn't seem to understand and didn't know what to say except "huh..." hahaha.
ReplyDeleteAnd yup, I'm currently in foundation. I was one of the girls who was around when you were drawing on the wall hahaha. Not Weili though.
yep, hardwork will always pay off, you can't go wrong. Just never think that you're not good enough, you'll be fine ^^
ReplyDeletehaha I AM NOW TRYING TO RECALL WHO WAS AROUND THAT DAY EXCEPT WEILI. were you the girl wearing kenny's hat!!
Yup! Hahaha don't know why suddenly feel very shy -_-
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAH. don't be silly~ you're really pretty ^^
DeleteO.O wasn't expecting that at all! Thank you ^^ don't know how I'm supposed to react when I see you in school in the future hahaha.
ReplyDeleteHAHHAHAH SAY HI!! I thought I saw you the other day so I smiled and did a small HI hand gesture. But the girl gave me a blank face. So I'm like omg paiseh to the max. *_*
